Home House in London’s Portman Square provided a beautiful backdrop for the fashion and beauty on display, with pretty spring flowers in yolky yellow and indigo dotted across the breakfast buffet and the rest of the two spacious rooms. Fashion collections, accessories and nail art were juxtaposed with old-fashioned paintings, stucco and chandeliers.
Attendees included top notch fashion press such as ELLE, Marie Claire, Wonderland, YOU and Company, blogger Jai’me from Boy Meets Fashion as well as the stylist for British girl band The Saturdays who are great fans of Finders Keepers (Una Healy and Mollie King wore the Australian label at The Voice Ireland at the weekend).
Finders Keepers’ ability to produce twelve stand-alone collections a year impressed visitors who also loved the Aussie label’s unique use of print and bold colour palette. Those more familiar with the history of the label pointed out the development of the brand’s more sophisticated tailoring offering, particularly visible in the All Stars collection that is due to hit stores in July. Hero pieces from the event included the Somerset Top and Evening Train Pants, the New Baxter Playsuit and the Wonderful Remark shorts; so look out for these pieces when the Replay collection launches in August.
With celebrity fans ranging from Rita Ora to Sienna Miller and Laura Whitmore, Finders Keepers have cemented their position as ‘one to watch’ and a leader in antipodean style. Finders Keepers is sold across the UK through Harvey Nichols.
