With a team of 50 based in central London, 2024 is set to be a landmark year for the agency group with the celebration of B’s 20th anniversary, launch of Summer’s re-brand, and accelerated client and commercial growth.

The role

In line with our continued growth, we’re looking for a Marketing Manager to take charge of our group marketing and fast-track agency fame. Reporting into the Group Business & Strategy Directors, you’ll be working to deliver the agencies brand and marketing strategy, taking ownership of all agency channels and storytelling.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, creative, and strategic Marketeer looking for their next step. An opportunity to own and build the agency marketing efforts for a vibrant, fast-paced, and creative communications agency.


  • Working closely with the Group Business Director, Strategy Director, and leadership team to define and deliver the agency brand proposition and marketing strategy, leveraging agency work, services, talent, and culture to drive awareness and power growth.
  • Implement and own an earned-first omni-channel marketing strategy inclusive social (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok) & content, awards, PR, thought leadership & events.
  • Manage SEO and strategic paid initiatives in line with departmental budget, reporting on results and making recommendations for continued improvement.
  • In collaboration with the leadership team, refine, update, and maintain all agency marketing toolkits in line with brand guidelines to ensure consistent visual direction & tone of voice.
  • Inspire the cross-departmental teams to contribute to agency marketing initiatives, driving excitement and engagement in the agency brand.
  • Ongoing review of industry landscape to identify new opportunities for business growth e.g. new or extended services.


  • Minimum 4 years’ experience, ideally in an agency marketing management role; alternatively, an editorial, content, or social media role
  • A proactive leader, with the ability to inspire, motivate and manage key stakeholders and wider agency team.
  • Editorial mindset. Able to identify news, moments, trends for industry commentary and agency content.
  • A strong visual, written, and verbal storyteller with passion for and examples of creative copywriting
  • Passion for the communications industry, ideally with beauty, fashion, lifestyle and FMCG experience
  • Highly organised, innovative, and motivated. Equal parts strategic and driven to get things done.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, interpreting results & drawing conclusions / future recommendations.
  • Experience in digital and programmatic marketing SEO, CRM a plus.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and industry trends.

Working directly into the Managing Director of summer. with a brilliant team underneath you, you’ll play an integral role in helping us to take summer. to the next level.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Campaign Strategy and Planning – Fusing creativity, trends and data proof points to build impactful strategies for clients that will deliver against objectives.
  • Counsel and Expertise – Acting as a go-to for the wider agency group for influencer marketing insights, delivering excellent advice and guidance for all. Have your finger on the pulse of trends and know what’s the next big thing in the social space.
  • Team Leadership – Lead and mentor a team of account managers and account executives to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring deadlines are met and goals are achieved.
  • Client Management – Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business objectives and providing strategic guidance/counsel.
  • Campaign Execution – Work closely with internal teams to ensure flawless execution of influencer campaigns, from casting to content creation and reporting. In addition to monitoring campaign performance and using data insights to optimize ongoing and future campaigns.
  • Budget Management – Manage campaign budgets effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and delivering maximum ROI for clients.
  • Agency Direction – Work with the MD to ensure our proposition is exciting, compelling and fresh. Providing insight and supporting on the roll-out of new services and ensure we’re tapping into new trends.
  • New Business – Source and support new business opportunities and pitches to help us grow our portfolio. In addition to supporting on organically growing our existing client’s remits.

  • A powerful presenter – you’ll be someone who loves to create impactful decks and present them with passion. This is a role where you’ll be leading campaigns from start to finish, so you’ll be building ideas on paper and selling that vision to clients, the team and beyond.
  • Analytical – we push for people who understand why reporting is important. You’ll always look at how we show value and ensure we’re always reviewing what worked and what didn’t. Using those insights to help us go bigger and better in the future.

  • Experience in influencer marketing – of course, we are looking for someone who’s got solid experience within the industry. We would expect you to be an AM who’s looking to take a step up or maybe you’re an AD who wants to have a hand in shaping the business. In-house candidates also considered but we’d love to see how you juggle multiple campaigns. We’d anticipate you having 5+ years experience in the space.
