LABRUM London Presents ‘Nomoli Odyssey’ for SS24

LABRUM London took to the catwalk once more at London Fashion Week, presenting their SS24 collection by Founder & Designer, Foday Dumbaya. Titled ‘Nomoli Odessey’, the Menswear and Womenswear collection is inspired by Nomoli figurines, the lasting remnants of a bygone Sierra Leonean and Liberian empire.

LABRUM’s SS24 collection examines the strength of cultural identity, the depths of human connection and the threads of migration. The result was an emotional, resilient, and culturally rich show that paid homage to the past, embraces the present and encourages a connected future.

Drawing upon silhouettes from 70s migration, ‘Nomoli Odyssey’ saw Ian Wright, Wretch 32, Unknown T, and Eddie Kadi take to the runway, with Michael Venom Page, Munya Chawawa, Clara Amfo, Big Zuu, Michael Dapaah, Miraa May, Ghetts, Zeze Mills and Santino Le Saint sitting FROW.

Amongst them were the biggest editors in the fashion industry including British Vogue, TANK, WWD and The New York Times, with the subsequent reviews celebrating another exceptional collection and electric show experience.
