Vogue will hold its second fashion festival this year on 27-28 April, following the colossal success of its initial event last spring. The fashion extravaganza, which is spread across two days, guarantees even more than its predecessor and will be held at the celebrated Queen Elizabeth Hall at Southbank Centre.
Last year’s Vogue Festival saw the likes of Tom Ford and Stella McCartney as guest fashion speakers, alongside designers, models, photographers and writers who shared their advice and wisdom with the general public through a series of talks, debates and workshops.
This year’s line up – which has recently just been announced – promises to be even better and includes designer and environmental campaigners Dame Vivienne Westwood and Katharine Hamnett CBE, as well as model Daisy Lowe and Weight Watchers campaigner and actress Patsy Kensit.
The recently revealed speakers will join fashion royalty Victoria Beckham, Alexa Chung, David Gandy, Michael Kors and much more, who will share their experiences and take part in panel debates.
Vogue editor Alexandra Shulma said: “Our first Vogue Festival was such a success that for 2013 we are planning to do it again on a larger scale.
“It’s clear that giving out readers the chance to see and hear the people whose talent is reflected in the pages of the magazine surrounded by a fun, fashion environment, attracts an engaged and lively audience that are part of the unique appeal of this event.”
Ticket holders will gain access to a host of other activities, such as cover shoots, mentoring, workshops, demonstrations and makeovers.
Extra tickets for the SOLD OUT event were released on Friday 22 March and can be purchased HERE
