And the nominees for the BRIT AWARD are…

With the close of London Fashion Week for another season, the 2013 BRIT Awards arrive to keep the party going!

Tonight, the biggest and best music stars will turn out to honour and celebrate our extraordinary music industry with the likes of Adele, Emilia Sande, Olly Murs and Mumford & Sons all in the running to win one of the prestigious awards.

Justin Timberlake will follow up on his US Grammys performance whilst an extra-quiver of tension will no doubt be rife between exes Taylor Swift and UK’s hottest boy band sensation, Harry Styles from One Direction. After last year’s blip, came at when ‘Someone like You’ singer Adele was cut-off mid-speech to make way for a performance from Blur, the Outstanding Contribution award has now been replaced with a Special Recognition award for the charity ‘War Child’ whilst a new Global Success Award has also been introduced to highlight acts who’ve managed to successfully crack America.

The Brits’ core appeal still however is pop and rock stars getting their hands on the renowned polka-dotted statuette award designed by artist Damien Hirst. Comedian James Corden will present the ceremony for the third time.
